FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
Q. Do I have to send in my tax bill statement?
A. If your loan is new to us in the past year, yes we would like for you
to send this in to us. If you have been a customer of Streeter Brothers
Mortgage for more than 1 year, we do not need for you to send in your
tax bill statement.
Q. When do I get new coupons?
A. We send out new coupons every year around Christmas time.
Q. Can I change my payment date?
A. As per the documents that you signed at closing, your payment is due
on the 1st of every month. These documents can not be changed.
Q. When will I be reported to the credit bureau?
A. We report to the credit bureau on a 30 day basis. If your loan becomes
30 days delinquent then you will be reported to the credit bureau.
Q. When is the late charge assessed?
A. Your payment is due on the first and late on the second, but we do
not assess a late charge until the 16th of the month. Payment must be
in our office before the 16th to avoid the late charge. We do not honor
post date.
Q. Can I make my payment electronically?
A. Yes, we offer an automatic payment system. Please feel free to contact
Grace, she will be happy to assist you in setting up your loan for automatic
payment.
